About

Fontana Elementary School
Our primary goal at Fontana is to provide a strong educational foundation for each student and to lead our students down the pathway of life-long learning.

The Fontana J8 School District prides itself on offering a quality educational experience for students in grades 4K-8. Fontana has an enrollment of approximately 300 students with the average teacher/student ratio of 15:1.

Students who attend Fontana Elementary School typically continue on to Big Foot High School in Walworth, WI.

Fontana is a member of the Big Foot Area Schools Association (BFASA). Together with Big Foot High School and the other three K-8 districts that send students to Big Foot, Walworth J1, Linn J6 (Reek), and Sharon, we work on issues of common concern such as curriculum, calendar, and transportation.

The district has a rich history and reputation for academic excellence driven by a commitment to working towards improving student achievement. Our school consists of highly qualified teachers and support staff.
