School Report Card

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction offers detailed information about each school district, providing parents and guardians with the tools they need to understand and compare school district performance.

You can review our school report cards, which are attached here as pdf files.

You can also review data about our school online, including the school performance report for Fontana, the school report card, and the new WISEdash Public Portal.

A note regarding historical trends:
In the spring of 2012, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) made significant changes to the scoring system on the Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Exam (WKCE). DPI changed the cut scores to better align the scores on the WKCE with the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP).

As a result, a number of our students shifted from proficient and advanced to minimal and basic. This was a phenomenon that was seen across the state. Our students did not underperform, nor did they suddenly lose skills or knowledge. In fact, results of the 2011 NAEP indicated Wisconsin students scored significantly higher than the national average in 4th and 8th grade math, 4th grade reading and science, and higher than the national average in 8th grade reading. In all areas tested, our students outperformed students from across the nation (more detailed information is available in a flyer from the DPI, attached as a pdf below).
