Middle school students have the opportunity to participate in several different sports throughout the year:
Cross-country: September thru mid-October
Flag Football: September through early October
Volleyball: October through early November
Boys Basketball: November through early January
Girls Basketball: January through mid-February
Track: April through May
Each practice is held Monday through Thursday from 3:30 - 4:45pm. Buses are not available for after-school activities. Parents/guardians will be responsible for their child's transportation home after practice, as described on the permission form.
The school provides insurance (included in the student fee) to cover all students participating in physical education classes and school-sponsored extracurricular athletics.
Students participating in extracurricular athletics should become familiar with the Board of Education Policy 370: Athletic/Extracurricular Guidelines, which covers academic, conduct, and behavior expectations for student athletes.
