School update

Hello Falcons!!

We have been busy this past week preparing for our final push before the Wizard of Oz Jr. musical coming up.  Track season is also upon us and we couldn't be more excited to hit Spring season running!!  Here are FIVE things to know this week:

  1. Our Wizard of Oz Jr. performances will be this Friday and Saturday (April 14th and 15th).  Doors open at 6:30p and show begins at 7p.  There is a $5 admission with 100% of the funds going toward our musical next school year.  The students have been working hard to showcase their amazing talents.  See you there!
  2. Track practice has started and our first track meet will be on Tuesday, April 18th at the Wisconsin School for the Deaf in Delavan.  Track practice runs Monday through Friday from 3:30p to 4:50p.  Please contact Coach Blackman (cblackman@fontana.k12.wi.us) and/or Coach Dase (jdase@fontana.k12.wi.us) with any questions.
  3. Looking ahead, we will begin our Wisconsin Forward testing on the week of April 17th.  It is vital to have our Falcons here, ready, and prepared to showcase everything they have learned already this school year.
  4. Mark your calendars, our annual Fontana Fine Arts Night will be coming April 20th.  We can't wait to show off all of the art, performances, and hard work our students have done this year.
  5. Our 2nd Annual Fontana Walk for Wellness will be May 19th, our last half-day of the school year.  This 5k walk/run will start at Duck Pond and registration is by donation only.  We can't wait to see you there to bring awareness to mental health and overall wellness.  All money raised will go to support mental health services through Bigger Than the Trail, a not-for-profit organization that combines physical and mental wellness through trail running and counseling.

Have a great extended Holiday weekend and we look forward to more learning on Monday!!
