School update

Hello Falcons!

Week 25 was very busy with fun, engaged learning, and plenty of opportunity inside and outside the school building.  Pictured is our 8th grade students teamed up with their class of 2027 Big Foot graduating class for next year.  All 8th graders got to tour and experience the high school with leaders from Big Foot.  Here are FIVE things to know this week:

  1. This year there is a new performance for 4K - 5th grade students.  March is "Music In Our Schools Month" and this year we would like to celebrate by having students show off some activities and performances they have learned in music class.  The Celebration will be on Thursday, March 9th @ 2:15 in the Fontana gym.  Families and friends are encouraged to join us if possible and we will also be a live stream on the Fontana Facebook Page.
  2. Big Foot is offering some softball classes for those interested in playing.  Mr. Hummel, Big Foot Softball Coach, will be offering classes in March, April and May.  Link with more information HERE.
  3. Registration is Open for Tech Savvy STEM Workshop!
Tech Savvy 2023 is a one-day STEM workshop tailored for girls in grades 6 to 9 and their parent(s), designed to inspire and encourage them in STEM fields. Interested boys may attend.
