Hello Falcons!!
Week 6 of summer break has provided a small break in the hot summer weather. We continue to work on preparing the school for next school year while opening our school each day to our daycare and Big Foot Recreation programming. Here are FIVE things to know this week:
Don't forget to register your Falcon for the 25/26 school year. Our staff are working hard to enter all families and students into our new school year. If you have any questions please contact our office, otherwise, you can click the link HERE to register!
We have made paying for school fees, lunch accounts, yearbook, and all school fees easy to pay electronically in your student portal. When registering you can click and pay for any and all school fees right there!
There is still time to register for summer school!! Don't miss out on a jump start to the new school year along with some fun and engaging activities! LINK HERE to register for summer school. You can also find out more about summer school on our website HERE.
This Tuesday we will again have some fun at school, which starts with crafts and story time at 9:15a in our library. At 10a we have a Snake Discovery program in our gym, and starting at 11a we have open gym and time to complete your Iready reading and math challenge! Bring your friends and family as our time on Tuesday is open to all!
I recognition of some of our fun traditions at Fontana I would like to celebrate our 3rd grade tradition of tapping the maple trees on our school property and then making our own maple syrup with Mr. Reckamp and Harvard Nursery! The students learn about properly caring for our trees along with important equipment such as a barometer. This is all celebrated with a pancake extravaganza to eat the syrup that is made!! Have a great week Falcons and don't forget to take part in our Iready math/reading challenge. We have over 40 students participating and winning prizes!! Reach out to Mrs. Gutierrez ([email protected]) if you would like to participate!
