Hello Falcons!!
Our week 9 of summer break saw our second week of summer school with fun in the sun daycare continuing their summer activities. Here are FIVE things to know this week:
Thank you to Jim May for visiting our summer school to celebrate a great summer filled with learning. Jim told some of his world renowned stories while teaching our students how to tell a story in sign language! More to come from Mr. May this school year!
Thank you to the 20 plus students that took part in our two week summer school this year! We had a focus in reading, math, and extracurricular activities each day. It was a great kick off before the school year started and we are excited to see you all back very soon!
Our first day of school is Tuesday, September 2nd. Reminder, doors open at 8am and school starts at 8:15am. Dismissal is 3:30p. Our SCHOOL CALENDAR is LINKED HERE.
4k/5k Meet and Greet Open House is Tuesday, August 26th. This year our 4k and 5k teachers will be planning a 10 minute meeting with each family to welcome everyone to Fontana. LINK for Ms. Santos 4K Sign up HERE LINK for Mrs. Palma's 5K HERE LINK for Ms. Paulson's 5k HERE
The Open House for the 1st through 8th grade students will be Thursday, August 28th from 5-6:30p. Bring your school supplies, find your locker, meet your teacher and check out the school.
BONUS--Don't forget cross country starts at the beginning of the school year!! Schedule LINKED HERE. All cross country students will be able to play volleyball as well in fall.
BONUS 2--Thank you to all of the families that have registered for the new school year. We are nearly completed!! Don't forget that you can also pay all of your student fees, pay for a yearbook, and add money to your students lunch account in your parent portal online!!
