Hello Falcons!!
Week 11 of summer break was our last for the wonderful Falcon staff!! We can't wait to welcome back our Fontana staff this Monday to officially prepare for another school year! Here are FIVE things to know this week:
Our 4k/5k open house is this Tuesday, August 26th from 4p to 6:30p. We are trying something new this year with each family scheduling a 10 minute meeting with their son/daugher's teacher. Our 1st through 8th grade Back to School Night is Thursday, August 28th from 5p to 6:30p. You can drop off school supplies, check out your classroom, meet your teacher, and check in with the bus company among other things.

The first day of school for all Falcons is Tuesday, September 2nd. Our doors open at 8am, school starts at 8:15am and dismissal is 3:30p. Please remember that our pick up line can appear long, but from beginning to end it will take between 6-8 minutes. Please be patient and work together. All middle school through 3rd grade students are picked up on the north end of the parking lot and all 2nd grade and younger students are picked up on the south side of the parking lot. Keep moving forward and fill in the empty spots along the curb as you get into the parking lot.
We are grateful to have to honorees in the "Best of Geneva Lake" contest this summer. Fontana Elementary has been nominated for best elementary school and Mr. Hoey has been nominated for best teacher. Please vote early, vote often, and vote Fontana!! You can VOTE HERE.
