Hello Falcons!
Week 2 of the school year was quite busy and filled with learning in multiple modalities. Here are FIVE things to know this week:
Thank you to Mrs. Soley-Johnson and the Williams Bay Middle School for hosting "Ryan's Story" regarding the impact of bullying/cyberbullying and how to be a good friend. Our middle school students had time to reflect and meet before/after the assembly to build stronger support systems within our school.
The 8th grade took their annual field trip to OWLS. This day long experience offers team building, leadership opportunity, and high ropes courses among so much more. Mr. Brad Cripe and the entire staff are amazing and our students always leave with confidence, new experiences, and stronger relationships with their peers.
Film club is underway and off to a great start! Students are creating an exciting monster movie called
Modzilla.
Middle school students are eligible to be in the main cast and crew and must return this form
to the office or Mr. McCanna.
Students in kindergarten through 5th grade can participate as extras during "Young Actors Day". The date for that is yet to be determined. Younger students who are interested should return this form
to the office or Mr. McCanna.
Great job to all of our students and families for successfully completing our fall benchmark testing. Our benchmark testing not only helps our staff see what students retained since they ended school in June, but also allows our team to adjust their instruction to meet Every Student's needs, Every Day! Well done!
PTSO Spotlight--Our PTSO has scheduled our annual Loved Ones Lunch (LOL) for Friday, September 19th. We can't wait to see all of the "Loved Ones" for our students during their lunch times. Don't forget to turn in your LOL RSVP so we can properly plan for lunch needs and seating that day. See you there!
Why are math textbooks always stressed?.....They deal with so many problems! :) Have a great weekend Falcons!
