Hello Falcons!!
We are now past the one month mark of school and finished week 5 already!! There has been so much learning and growth already and we can't wait for what lies ahead!! Here are FIVE things to know this week:
Our 5k and 4k students got to experience their first field trip of the school year! Exploring Stade's Farm in McHenry IL had them jumping for joy! Thank you to all of the parent chaperones and staff for coordinating a fun adventure for our students.
One easy fundraiser to help the school is by turning in your Daniel's Grocery receipts. Periodically, we turn in the receipts we collect and Daniel's will donate back to our school. Remember: The receipt cannot be more than 4 months old and needs to have the green sticker on it (clerks at check out have stickers). Thank you!
Parent/Teacher conferences are fast approaching. Our conferences will be Thursday October 16th from 4-8pm and Friday October 17th from 12:30p to 4pm. Please be sure to get your time secured with your child(rens) teacher. Additionally, we encourage families to meet with your "specials" team. CLICK HERE to sign up to meet with our specials team
We are celebrating and recognizing EXCELLENCE to self, others, and community. This includes alumni of Fontana who have made an impact after leaving our school. ALL nominations and recognition can be completed HERE. We are excited to honor all Wings of Distinction!!
Our PTSO is beginning plans and preparation for the annual FALL FUN FEST!! Part of FFF is the basket donation fundraiser. Each class has a theme and will be collecting raffle donations the next two weeks. Donation deadline is October 16th. Additionally, our school is transformed into a Spooktacular Halloween Spectacle. Please consider helping our PTSO with set up, take down, and planning by signing up HERE.
