Halloween
Hello Falcons,

Halloween capped off a busy week 10 of the school year!! The school was quite busy with parents, parades, and parties!! Here are FIVE things to know this week:
  1. We will have our first ever Professional Development in collaboration with our parents and community. On Friday, November 7th, we will be hosting “Care for Caregivers” from 1-3:30p focused on self-care, gratitude practices, and daily habits to be your best! Please email [email protected] to RSVP or for any questions.
  2. Thank you to all of our “room rangers” and parent volunteers for helping with our Halloween activities, parties, and parades! Fun was had by all and our students enjoyed a wonderful week!
  3. This Friday, November 7th is an early release day for both our school and daycare! Our school release is 11:45a and daycare at 12p.
  4. Congratulations to our girls volleyball team for winning the league championship on Thursday in a thrilling matchup with Reek! Way to go team and thank you to our great fans for your timely cheering!!
  5. We are excited to start our very first Storytelling and Podcasting after school group. This is for anyone 5th grade and older, including any community members/adults interested. We will have Mr. Jim May, nationally recognized and award winning storyteller working with our after school group to teach skills such as engaging an audience, telling a catchy story, how to create a story arch, while providing all the necessary podcasting equipment/coaching. Our first 4 meetings, in the school media room/library will be November 12/19th and December 3/10th from 3:30-5p. Please email [email protected] to RSVP or with any questions.
Have a great weekend Falcons and see you Monday!
