Hello Falcons!!
Week 17 was our last week of school for 2025! So proud of our staff and students for their hard work and learning right up to the last day this past week. Here are FIVE things to know this week:
We had a great time at the annual Christmas sing-a-long this week. We had parents, students and staff singing along as well as christmas music performed by our 4th, 5th, and middle school bands.
Thank you to all of the parents and PTSO members for decorating the school, making our common areas a winter wonder land, and for supporting our classroom parties on Friday. We are grateful for our strong parent connections.
Our school offices will be closed the next two weeks for winter break. Our office staff will be on vacation the next two weeks along with our students and staff. We will be periodically checking email and voicemails if you need any support over the winter break.
School resumes for all 4k-8th grade students on Monday, January 6th. Our daycare will be open during winter break December 22, 23, 29, 30 and January 2nd.
This past Tuesday, Fontana 8th graders were given an exciting preview of Bigfoot High School's art department! Mr. Boland and the National Art Honor Society members helped students create clay bowls using their pottery wheels. The ceramic creations will then be delivered to our school and glazed in our art room. They also experienced some photo magic by using various light devices captured with prolonged camera exposures and increased shutter speeds. Our falcon artists look forward to the wide range of art electives offered to them in high school! Thank you Mr. Boland and NAHS students!
BONUS--A huge thank you to the Big Foot Lions Club for their support in coordinating our annual vision screening. The Lion's are also integral in helping families secure glasses and other vision exams as needed. THANK YOU LION"S!!
Have a great winter break Falcons and see you January 5th!
