8th grade registration

Hello Falcons!!

Week 20 was our welcome back to school week. It was a great first week in 2026, and some of the days almost felt like spring!! Here are FIVE things to know this week:

  1. Our Winter Concert is Thursday, January 15th. The concert will start at 6:30 PM. Students are to arrive at 6:00 in the band and choir rooms at Big Foot. Concert attire is white tops and black bottoms.  The concert will be live streamed on the school youtube channel.  LINK HERE

  2. Our Winter Concert will once again have our annual Bake Sale fundraiser.  We will be working toward our continued goal of updating and replacing outdated band equipment. Thank you to our PTSO for helping coordinate and support this important fundraiser each year.  Be on the look out for the famous Mr. Smith cake auction as well!!

  3. Thank you to the Fontana Fire Department and Fontana Police for supporting our fire drill today.  The partnership and continuous learning, as a team, is appreciated.

  4. Congratulations to our two first place finishers at the Southern Lakes Math Meet this week.  Andrew Nyman (8th) and Brace Weeks (5th) took home the first place trophy and competed against at least 9 other schools from around the area.  Our entire team of 5th-8th graders did an amazing job and we are proud of their efforts.  Way to go!

  5. Please be mindful that there are two basketball games on the same night as our winter concert and Big Foot also has a basketball game that same night. It will be busy so please allow for extra time as needed.

  6. PTSO Spotlight--Don't miss the annual PTSO Winterfest this year, which will take place on February 1st from 1-5p at Delavan Lanes Bowling Alley. There are amazing auction prizes to win. See you there!!

Have a great weekend Falcons and see you all Monday.
