Hello Falcons!!
Week 24 of the school year was busy with benchmark testing for 3-5th grade students. This is their third opportunity to show growth, learning targets, while allowing our staff to individualize their instruction based on student needs. Here are FIVE things to know this week:
February is an exciting month as our PTSO kicks off the super popular Hot Chocolate Friday's. Our PTSO parents volunteer and service hot chocolate during lunch and all students are able to enjoy a warm cup of joy each Friday in February!! Thank you!
Be on the look out for the Kringle Fundraiser forms that were sent home this past week. These delicious treats will support our PTSO and all of the programs they support at our school. Additionally, thank you to everyone who supported and participated in Winterfest last weekend in Delavan. It was very successful and fun was had by all.
Our office sent home report cards for middle school (operates on 4 quarters) along with attendance letters for those absent more than 5 days so far this school year. These attendance forms are a way for all of us to communicate, work together, and support positive school attendance. Reminder, if you have a planned, extended absences, we can support students with virtual learning if that is an option for your family.
The window for Open Enrollment for the 26/27 school year is now open. Families are able to apply for open enrollment from now until April 30, 2026. Thank you to the BF Community Fine Arts Committee for providing an opportunity for our 5-8th graders to experience The 4th Wall performance this coming week at Big Foot High School. Our students, along with the other Big Foot Area Schools, will see an abbreviated version of their full performance that will take place over the weekend at the Big Foot Auditorium.
BONUS--Thank you to Coach Stankevitz, Coach Paulsen, and the Big Foot Girls Varsity for coming to our middle school practice this past week. They were encouraging, modeled high quality practice, and supported our girls. The connection and partnership is awesome.
