Hello Falcons!!
We had a four day week for our 26th week of school. Our 4th grade was selected to take the National NAEP test and they completed all requirements this past week. This data helps support the progress in reading, writing and math in the United States. Here are FIVE things to know this week:
- Huge thank you to our PTSO for sponsoring staff appreciation week, all week. Our incredible parents provided lunch, snacks, prizes, and so much cheer!! Thank you.
- We are grateful for all of the community member who created a positive note to our staff this past week along with our giant gratitude heart filled with positive notes. You find what you look for, and this past week was evidence our school community finds positivity!
- Our daycare was open Friday, despite school being closed, and we are so fortunate to provide a positive atmosphere for our children three years old and younger. Thank you.
- The window for open enrollment is now open for th 26/27 school year. Our enrollment specialist, Wendy Schanau is available for questions, set up tours and/or more information at wschanau@fontana.k12.wi.us.
- Don’t miss our annual STEAM EXPO and science fair this Thursday, February 26th, from 5-7pm. We will have many vendors and STEAM related businesses to showcase the vast careers and opportunities right in our own community. See you there.
- BONUS—Don’t forget, we are working toward our goal of 800 cereal boxes to donate by February 27th. We are almost halfway there. Let’s keep it up. You can drop off boxes at Daniels Foods, Fontana School and the Fontana Public Library!
Have a great weekend Falcons and see you Monday! As always, don’t forget to have your Falcon dressed for any weather as we go outside whenever we can!
