cereal drive donation

Hello Falcons!!

Thank you for another great week of learning and celebrating of student success. Week 29 was busy with activities during and after school including our annual Fine Arts Night. Here are FIVE things to know this week:

  1. Thank you to Mr. McCanna, Ms. Jacoby, and Mr. Smith for planning and executing another successful Fine Arts Night Falcon Showcase event!! There was so much student art on display along with talented musicians signing and performing all evening. Thank you to our Cultural Arts Committee and PTSO for supporting this event, preparing, and sharing tasty treats!!

  2. It was an honor to host our very first WINGS OF DISTINCTION event to recognize the amazing alumni, teachers, students and community members that make our school so special. EXCELLENCE is not an accident, but a way of doing business each day.

  3. Open Enrollment for the 26/27 school year is open through April 30th. You can find out more by visiting the DPI Website HERE or by contacting our open enrollment specialist Mrs. Schanau ([email protected]).

  4. Our student council completed the cereal box challenge by donating nearly 850 boxes of cereal to the Bridges Food Bank in Elkhorn. Did you know, the Bridges Food Bank supports over 1000 families every month that are in need of food, diapers and household goods. Giving back is one of our priorities in the community.

  5. Our jazz band had the opportunity to perform and learn at the UW-Whitewater Jazz Festival this week. What a great learning opportunity and chance to connect with other bands from around the area. Thank you to Ms. Jacoby for organizing and setting up this additional opportunity.

Have a great weekend Falcons and see you all Monday!!
