Hello Falcons!!
This was our last full week of school for the 25/26 school year. Next week there is no school on Monday, May 25th, and our last day of school is Thursday, June 4th. It's hard to believe, but we are nearly finished with another school year. We look forward to sending our 8th graders off to high school on May 28th at their annual promotion ceremony. The wait is over! Modzilla will be available to purchase on DVD in the front office (from Madam Z herself!) starting on Tuesday! Each copy is $15, and all sales before the end of the school year include a movie night treat! This 2-disc movie is packed with the thrilling feature, bloopers, a behind the scenes featurette and more! Each purchase supports future film club movies!
Reminder--No School or daycare on Monday May 25th in recognition of the Memorial Day Holiday.
Congratulations to all of our band students for representing Fontana so well at the Beyond the Notes Festival at the Kalahari Resort. This annual trip allows our students to experience some great musical opportunities along with fun social bonding and swimming at the Kalahari.
Thank you to all of our participants and families for joining the 5th annual Walk for Wellness. All the money raised during this fundraiser goes directly toward our schools mental health programming, including our Hope Squad. To date, we have collected over $2000 for this year's event (still tabulating) and we have collected over $10,000 in donations toward mental health in the last five years! Thank you Fontana and we are super excited to include Walworth Elementary in our walk this year in addition to the annual support from Big Foot National Honor Society!!
