Hello Falcons!!
Our staff have been working hard to prepare fo the new school year, including a full week of inservice planning, training, and preparation this past week. We can't wait to have everyone back this Tuesday for the first day of the 26/27 school year. Thank you to our daycare staff and families for a wonderful summer of care! It really keeps our school full of life over the summer while school is out! Here are FIVE things to know this week:
We are grateful to our community partners at the Walworth Co. Sherriff's Office, St. Benedict's, Fontana Public Works, Fontana PD, and Fontana FD for your teamwork and support this summer to ensure our school is safe and prepared for the new school year. Thank you.
Our First day of school is Tuesday, September 1st. Doors open at 8am and school starts at 8:15a. Dismissal is 3:30p. REMINDER-The pick up line can be long, please be patient, pull up as far as you can to fill in all available space in front of school, and we can get the line fully completed in 8 minutes or less!! Students line up oldest at the North end of the lot and our youngest students at the South end of the lot. Families with multiple children will meet up at the youngest students location.
Auditions for the Phantom of Fontana will be held after school on Thursday, September 3rd or Tuesday, September 8th from
3:30-5pm. These auditions are only for 6th through 8th grade students who wish to be in the main cast. Younger students, in grades Kindergarten through 5th are welcome to sign up for Young Actors Day (Date TBD), and perform as extras. Forms were available at open house, and can also be downloaded HERE.
Looking ahead to some important dates: 9/3 Cross Country interest meeting after school. First day of CC and Flag Football practice is 9/8.
Picture day is 9/22 and all orders for pictures and yearbooks are made online through School and Sports Pics. You can learn more by CLICKING HERE regarding pictures and yearbooks.
BONUS--Fontana Elementary, Middle School Daycare and Mrs. Bolly have all been nominated for "Best of Geneva Lake". You can vote everyday at the LINK HERE. We are grateful for the nominations and humbled to be included with a great group of schools in our area.
