Hello Falcons!!
We are already two weeks into the school year Fontana!! As we close out another successful week of school we would also like to honor and recognize those that were impacted by the events of September 11, 2001. Here are FIVE things to know this week:
We are doing well and our pick up/drop off times are down to 10 minutes or less. We still have some areas of improvement such as creating more space by pulling up as far as you can go. You can also form two lines once you get to the parking lot to pull up to the south end of the building where our youngest students will be waiting. Thank you for your patience as we work through our beginning of the year adjustments.
Thank you to all of our students and families for all of your hard work and consistency to help with our benchmark IReady testing this week. This testing data allows our staff to create individualized learning plans for every student.
This Friday, September 18th is our annual Loved Ones Lunch (LOL). Please turn in your sign up sheets by this Monday so we can properly plan for all of our esteemed guests!! If you didn't get a sign up sheet, or need another one, please contact our office and we can help get you signed up.
Last call for Young Actors Day! Any Kindergarten through 5th grade students who wish to appear as extras in the film The Phantom of Fontana should have a YOUNG ACTORS FORM FILLED OUT HERE and returned to Mr. McCanna by Monday, September 14th. The date has not been determined, but families who signed up will be notified. Lights! Camera! Action!
We are excited to have both flag football and cross country started this school year! We have a great group of 5-8th graders participating, some for the first time, and we couldn't be more proud. Our first flag football game will be this Tuesday, September 15th at Walworth School. See you there!
Daycare News--We are super excited to welcome our newest staff member this Tuesday, September 15th. Jordon Stupienski will be joining our team this week and she will be supporting multiple rooms to start! Welcome Jordon!!
