Hello Falcons!!
We have finished our first month of school and we are officially heading into fall!! Here are FIVE things to know this week:
- Reminder—We have made great progress since the beginning of the year with our pick up and drop off timing and safety. Please remember to stay in your car unless you park in a spot and get out and pull forward as far as you can in line to keep things moving. The middle school students are at the north side of the school and our youngest learners are at the south end of the school. All students are to gather at the youngest Falcon in your family. We are at about 10 minutes from beginning to end and our goal is 5-7 minutes each year so we are very close, but keeping safety in mind always!! Thank you families.
- This week is homecoming week, which means spirit week is upon us. Monday we kick the week off with Pajama Day!! All dress up days linked below. Also, this Friday, October 3rd is an early release day (11:45a) for all 4k-8th grade students. All band students will stay at school, have lunch, and take the bus to Big Foot to march in the homecoming parade that starts at 2p in Walworth. See you at the parade Falcons!
- With October in the horizon don’t forget to keep an eye out for all things Fall Fun Fest set to take place at Fontana on Thursday, October 22, 2026. Our PTSO does an amazing job transforming our school into a Halloween wonderland. Additionally, in East Troy the YMCA puts on a “no scare” adventure at the Hallows of Phantom Lake for those interested.
- Great job to our Falcon cross country team for competing in their first meet this past week at Duck Pond! All runners did amazing and special shout out to Sammie Huff for finishing 3rd! Way to go team! Our flag football team continues to play great football and work hard each game and practice. Way to go!
- Don’t forget, this Monday, September 28th, is the first day of volleyball practice for our middle school girls teams. We will now have volleyball, cross country, and flag football after school for practices.
