falcons at rotary lunch
Hello Falcons!!

We had a great week of learning and review of our student learning so far this year at our first parent/teacher conferences of the year.  Here are FIVE things to know this week:
  1. Thank you to the Fontana PTSO for providing a delicious dinner on conference night Thursday. We are grateful for the continuous support of our PTSO and parent volunteers.
  2. We welcome all Veterans to our annual Veterans Day lunch and assembly this Wednesday, November 11th. Lunch will be provided starting at 12:30p and our assembly will follow at 1:30p at Fontana Elementary School. Please RSVP by emailing Mrs. Sahs at [email protected] or by calling Mrs. Ziganto in the office.
  3. As a reminder, our school doors open at 8a and school starts at 8:15a. Please try your best to have your falcon at school on time to be in class by 8:15a as that helps with attendance, learning for the day, lunch counts for our kitchen staff and so much more. If we can assist in anyway please let us know.
  4. We are improving our pick up line by the day! Thank you to everyone for being patient and supportive as we welcome many new families to our before and after school plans. We have created a quick video LINKED HERE to help with any visual needed as the traffic can sometimes be challenging. I’m excited to report our pick up line is now down to 7 or less minutes from beginning to end!!
  5. At the Geneva Lake West Rotary meeting this week Big Foot High School invited three seniors to honor for their amazing accomplishments in high school. Our principal for the day, Mylo, was able to experience first hand how hard work and commitment from Fontana to high school and beyond is the standard! Way to go Ellie, Emme and Hoyt!!
  6. Daycare—thank you again to all of our families for being flexible on our early release this past Friday. Our daycare team was able to collaborate and start planning for our curriculum implementation and classroom schedules!
Have a great weekend Falcons and see you Monday!!
