School update

Hello Falcons!!

Welcome to the post-spring break part of our school year.  We look forward to finishing the 21/22 school year strong with exceptional learning and experiential activities.  We are beginning to explore more field trips as restrictions are adjusting so be on the lookout for permission slips.  Here are FIVE things to know this week:

  1. We finished our first week of Wisconsin FORWARD testing, which is a standardized proficiency test in grades 3-8th.  Our fourth graders will continue to test next week.
  2. As we are working toward the last trimester of the school year, we are also looking forward to the 16th year of our Fontana Summer School Program. This year’s program will take place from July 5-July 21.  Click here for a registration packet
  3. Middle school track starts this Monday, April 11th!!  Please remember, our students will be around the school campus doing different activities after school, we will need to avoid using the South driveway after school during track season.
  4. Our family and student support newsletter is HERE.  Please take a read and check out all the great things available and going on in Fontana.
  5. Don't forget, the open enrollment window for the 22/23 school year will close at the end of April.  You can contact Mrs. Wendy Schanau at wschanau@fontana.k12.wi.us for more information on open enrollment.

Have a great weekend and enjoy some warmer weather.  See you Monday Falcons!!
