Hello Falcons. We are experiencing phone challenges this morning. Please call 262-729-5938 for our office. For daycare please call 262-729-5964 or 262-374-3820. We are thankful to have an alternate phone for families and we will notify everyone when our phone lines are back up as normal.

Our Penny Wars resulted in $800 raised for the Fontana Community Food Pantry. Our National Junior Honor Society middle schoolers took the 3rd graders to Daniel's Food in Walworth to buy the needed supplies for the local food pantry. Thank you to DNR Warden Wilson for coordinating our schools in this "Hunt out Hunger" drive. #unitedweSOAR #flyintoexcellence #Fontanacares Thank you Fontana!!

Falcon Reminder!! We are collecting non-perishable food items to support our local food banks during the holiday season. We have two large bins in the main entrance. Please consider donating as all food collected will go directly to our local community! #unitedweSOAR

Four and half years ago our team and school board had an idea.... "Let's use some of the available space in our school to open a daycare". What was once an idea is now an integral part of our community. At any given time you may find one of our daycare hall monitors patrolling the school!! We are grateful to our community and amazing staff for providing a wonderful place for growing families! #unitedweSOAR #flyintoexcellence

Hello Fontana!
Starting next Wednesday, December 11th, we will be starting a monthly "Let's Talk" with district administrator Steve Torrez at Coffee Mill at 8:30am. Bring your questions, wonderings, and feedback on December 11th while enjoying a warm cup of joe!
This open format is meant to provide our community the opportunity to find out what's going on at Fontana, learn more about our school, and ask questions you may have about Fontana Elementary. We will also bring topics to discuss and this month we will be reviewing the new school report cards and what is going on at Fontana. See you there!!

What does it take to be a leader? What are the responsibilities and attributes of a leader? We had some middle school students learn about that and more at the Leadership Conference at UW-Whitewater this past Monday. Thank you to Dr. Ted Neitzke and Southern Lake Anthology for hosting a great event.
Our students were able to interact with many different middle schools, learn about being a Buffalo Leader, how to step out of their comfort zone, and step into uncomfortable situations for success! What a great learning experience! #unitedweSOAR #flyintoexcellence

Great job to our three Fontana FLL Robotics teams. All three teams competed this weekend in multiple activities testing their robots ability to perform tasks that they developed. Thank you to Mrs. Gutierrez and Mrs. Rabe for your commitment to the FLL teams. #unitedweSOAR #flyintoexcellence

Most importantly, she declared an extra recess for all of third grade!! Maple won Principal for the Day at our PTSO Golf Outing this fall. #unitedweSOAR #flyintoexcellence #youarehired

Our 4th and 5th graders had a great time at the Chicago Wolves hockey game yesterday. We were able to attend the "Get Schooled by Skates" field trip for an educational experience along with some great hockey! All students got an interactive workbook to learn about how hockey related to everyday classroom subjects such as math, science, language arts, reading and social studies! Bringing learning to life is always fun! #unitedweSOAR #flyintoexcellence

Find your "heart" every day. What you focus on matters. Starting with your heart in communication, actions, and habits will provide a strength based lens to see the world! #unitedweSOAR #flyintoexcellence
