Dear Fontana Parents, In our continuous effort to be proactive, we wanted to inform everyone that a concerning social media post was brought to our attention. Working collaboratively with the Fontana Police Department, we have reviewed all the facts, and have determined that there was never a credible threat to the safety of our school or any student. We have completed our investigation, have taken appropriate action, and will continue to work with the Fontana Police Department to ensure the safety of our entire school/district. If you have any specific concerns, please contact our principal, Steve Torrez, or our superintendent, Mark Wenzel. We appreciate the cooperation of all students, parents, employees and citizens who bring any safety concerns to our attention, so the district can properly investigate them As we are sure you are all aware, because of every student’s right to confidentiality, we are not able to disclose the names of any students involved in our investigation of this matter or any future matters. Sincerely, Steve Torrez

This summer was quite busy at Fontana! We had 4th-8th grade students here earlier in the summer for a volleyball camp. They not only learned about volleyball, but they had a great time bonding! Thank you Mr. Long and Mackenzie Long for your sharing your time with our students
