During inservice week our staff discussed finding "hearts" and we challenged our staff to find naturally occuring hearts and/or kindness in our school and lives everyday. We believe, if you look for the good around you, you will in fact, find good. There can be shadows, onions, or playdough that create hearts in our day or it can be an act of kindness that makes someone's day. We challenge our Falcon community to find a heart each day as there is so much good and kindness all around us! #unitedweSOAR #flyintoexcellence

Hello Falcons! Don't forget, we have our annual open house tonight from 5-6:30p for all 1st through 8th grade students. Drop off school supplies, meet your teacher, and get comfortable with the building before the first day of school. Fontana Jt 8 School District is seeking a full-time (school year) paraprofessional for the 24/25 school year. This position will provide a rigorous academic environment, in collaboration with our educational/special education teams to actively engage students; Paraprofessionals at Fontana help create an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and addresses the needs of all learners. Hello Falcons! Unfortunately, with the continued storms and challenges with weather we are still without power at Fontana School! Our school will remain closed for Tuesday, June 25th. Our scheduled Tuesday Summer Programming "Snake Discovery" from 10-11a will still take place, however, it will be moved to Big Foot High School. There will be NO summer challenge programming from 11-12p today due to the school closure.

Hello Falcons. Due to the storm from Saturday night the school is still without power. Our school will be closed Monday, June 24th, including daycare, until we can get the power back up. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not have a timeline of it being fixed. We will communicate updates through our social media and emails. Thank you

Additionally, don't miss the long time tradition of going to Fontana Beach to celebrate another successful school year!! Hello Falcons. We are currently under a severe weather warning and all students and staff are safe in our tornado safe zone. All students and staff have been accounted for and we will share/update when the warning has been lifted as an extended warning may delay dismissal/bussing.

Congratulations to Lily Augustson in 3rd grade who took 2nd place in her grade category in the annual Wisconsin Rural Water Association's poster contest. Her artwork nabbed her a $50 check and helps spread positive messages of water conservation! Thank you to all students who participated and showed concern for our natural resources!

Each year our 4th and 5th grade students prepare an assembly and report on the importance of Arbor Day for our community and Country.
